Johnny Depp about Tim Burton

Other icon
Johnny Depp, who is known to work with Tim Burton seven times, has recently spoken about his relationship with the director.

Depp said that: "The most special thing is that he very luckily has given me about seven jobs. That's the most amazing thing. I'm looking forward to the eighth and ninth."

"There's no real definition other than there is some kind of connection, some sort of understanding that Tim and I have that is at most times unspoken."

Of their on-set chemistry, he added: "Most people when they hear Tim give me direction or we're talking about the character or something on the set, people are baffled. They don't know what we're talking about."

"It's just one of those things that you don't question, but I sure love him."

The interview has been made by Collider.com.

To start with, I'd like to apologise for not being present here, at Nightmare King lately. It's because of my school and being very busy! That's why I was not able to post the news up to their date. Now things are a bit better so it's time to catch up!n Here we go!

Earlier this week Walt Disney Pictures released the first promotional character photos and concept art for adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. All photos presented below, along with the official movie logo, are in high resolution.

You can see Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum and Mia Wasikowska as Alice.

Viral Site launched for Tim Burton's 9!

Movie icon
As part of a viral for '9' there's a page on Facebook of the scientist who eventually creates the rag doll characters in the movie.

His Facebook page now links to what he calls his Laboratory. Here you can find details about some of his inventions. I think it's somekind of puzzlegame, it's likely that as time passes more pieces of the "Puzzle" shall be revealed.

Check it out at www.facebook.com/9scientist

'9' comes out on september 9, 2009 in both the US and Europe.

The Tim Burton exhibition!

Tim Burton icon
The Museum of Modern Art in New York is planning a career retrospective for Tim Burton.

According to MoMA’s website, the exhibition will present “artwork generated during the conception and production of his films, a number of unrealized projects and never-before-seen pieces, as well as student art, his earliest non-professional films, and examples of his work as a storyteller and graphic artist for non-film projects.”

The exhibition is viewable from Nov. 22, 2009 until April 26, 2010.
From the looks of it this is going to be amazing for all Tim Burton fans. Check it out if you get a chance to do so!

Check out the exhibition's site for more details here.
