But I've got good info for dvd collectors! As Dreamworks Home Entertainment has announced on October 21st you will be able to get Burton's awesome musical 'Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street' on Blu-ray! Im means that the video will be presented in 1080p Avc and be accompanied by a 5.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack! That's a great news. isn't it?!
So, the best we can do is to wait until this years' Halloween!

Variety reports today that The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s committee has chosen 25 new recipients to be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Among the stars will be our beloved director Tim Burton!

The hot list also includes Kyra Sedgwick, Kenny 'Baby Face' Edmonds, Shakira, Cameron Diaz, Hugh Jackman, Ralph Fiennes, The Village People, John Stamos, bands Rush and The Miracles as well as Disney character Tinkerbell.

All of the new stars will be awarded on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009 and they will have to pay $25,000 (GBP12,500) to cover the cost of protecting the star.

Tim Burton is attached to direct an adaptation of '60s supernatural soap Dark Shadows, IESB reports.
The Sweeney Todd director will reportedly helm the Warner Bros film, which is set up at Johnny Depp's Infinitum-Nihil production company. John August will write the movie.

Dan Curtis's Dark Shadows ran on US TV from 1966 to 1971. The series's popularity surged when vampire Barnabas Collins was introduced a year into its run.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly last year, Depp stated: "When I was a kid I wanted to be Barnabas. "He was super-mysterious, with that really weird hairdo and the wolf's-head cane."

So the best we can do is to wait and see what will show up from this great idea!
